Kathleen A. George, age 70 of Williamsport, passed away at her residence Friday, September 11, 2015.
Kathleen was born January 10, 1945 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to the late Theodore and and the late Clara Lekic George. Her very caring and empathetic nature led her to nursing. She graduated from Hahnemann University in Philadelphia with her Bachelor’s of Nursing. She also stepped into a motherhood role when her brother’s wife passed away, leaving behind small children. She was her own person and she marched to the beat of her own drum. Kathleen was a member of St. Catherine Catholic Church in Columbia.
The family will celebrate her life at a later date.
Kathleen is survived by her brother Theodore “Nick” (Joanne) George of Philadelphia; nieces and nephews: Nicole B., Nicole A., Eric, Robert, Holly, Karl, and Scott; several great nieces and great nephews and her friends who were like her family, The Johnson Family.
