Katherine Sowell Parrish

Mrs. Katherine Bell Sowell Parrish, 83, a resident of the Theta Community, died Monday, March 3, 2003 at Maury Regional Hospital.
Graveside services for Mrs. Parrish will be conducted Wednesday, March 5, 2003 at 2:00 p.m. at the Sunset Hill Cemetery with Reverend John Rushing officiating. The family will visit with friends Wednesday at the cemetery following the service. Williams Columbia Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
The Maury County native was the daughter of the late Arthur A. and Edna Earl Hill Sowell. She was the widow of James Thomas "Tommy" Parrish. She was a homemaker, seamstress, and member of the Theta Baptist Church.
She is survived by a daughter, Edna Parrish of Columbia, TN; a son, James T. Parrish, III of Taylor, MI; five grandchildren and six great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Timothy Allen Parrish.
Family members will serve as pallbearers.
