Katherine "Lucille" Ragsdale

Katherine “Lucille” Ragsdale, of Mt. Pleasant, Tennessee, gained her wings on October 31, 2022, at the age of 84.

She was born on October 2, 1938, to the late Clarence and Pauline Pennington of Hohenwald, TN.

Preceded in death by her parents; her love: JR Ragsdale; son: Dennis Burlison; granddaughter: Anna Escobar; three sisters: Robbie Smith, Christine Shaffer, and Betty Pennington.

She is survived by her six children: Larry Hardiman, Nell (Bobby) Brannon, Debbie McKennon, Shelia (Michael) Carroll, Eddie (Kristy Kay) Hinson, and Lynn (Sammy) Epperson. Also 24 grandchildren, 42 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great-grandchildren.

She made broken look beautiful and strong look invincible. She will be dearly missed by all the lives she’s touched.

The family will receive friends and family at Williams Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant on Wednesday, November 2, 2022, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A funeral service will be Thursday, November 3, 2022, at 2:00 PM, with Bro. Randy Kersey officiating. To follow, Ms. Lucille will be laid to rest at Arlington cemetery.

Pallbearers are Blake Carroll, Tank Tatum, Scott Hall, Tony Wix, Keith Ragsdale, and Travis Adams. The honorary pallbearer is Scooter McKennon.
