Katherine Isabell Medlin, age 71, resident of Mt. Pleasant, passed away on Saturday, March 13, at Maury regional Medical Center.
Funeral services for Katherine will be conducted Tuesday, March 16th at 2:00 P.M. at the Williams Funeral Home in Columbia with Rev. William Owens and Brother Danny Hunt officiating. Burial will follow in the Polk Memorial Gardens
The family will visit with friends on Monday from 5:00 9:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
Born on March 15, 1938 in Maury County, Katherine was the daughter of the late Bonnie Blue and Annie Dean McNeece Isabell. She was wife of Louis Medlin who preceded her in death. She was a sewing machine operator for Rob Roy and Maury Manufacturing. Katherine loved square dancing and buck dancing. She was a member of the Ebenezer Church.
Katherine is survived by her children; Kathy Jay Davidson and Eddie Christine Bolton of Columbia, Gracie Brannon of Lawrenceburg; step-children: Steve Medlin of Clifton, Wiley Medlin and Kathy Medlin of Nashville and Richard Medlin of Lawrenceburg; one brother: William Bill Isabell of Mt. Pleasant; four sisters: Margaret Stewart of Columbia, Linda Jerry Young and Elizabeth Rose Buck Boundarant of Mt. Pleasant and Bonnie Kay Isabell of Columbia; grandchildren: Phillip Bolton and Clint Amanda Bradley of Lawrenceburg , Jason Bolton of Columbia, David Rose Bolton of Mt. Pleasant, Courtney Warren of Summertown, Christy Jones, Paris, TN, Nathan Davidson of Culleoka, Julie Hanes of Culleoka, Lindsay Burls of Nashville, Chris Brannon of Lawrenceburg, Matthew Forbes of Pulaski, Zachary Forbes of St. Petersburg, FL and Sarah Forbes of Columbia; twenty three great-grandchildren and many great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Helen Bolton and three brothers, Seth, Marshall, and Claude T. Isabell.
Pallbearers will be Phillip Bolton, Clinton Bradley, David Bolton, Jason Bolton, Chris Brannon and Nathan Davidson.
Honorary Pallbearers will be all of her nieces and nephews.
