Mrs. Martha Katherine Gregg Glass, 82 , a resident of Pleasant Street in Mt. Pleasant passed away Thursday, December 15, 2005 at Maury Regional Hospital.
Funeral services for Mrs. Glass will be conducted Saturday, December 17, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. at Williams Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant with Brother Jim Walsh officiating. Burial will be in the Polk Memorial Gardens. The family will visit with friends Thursday from 5:00 until 8 :00 p.m. and Friday from 4:00 until 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
The Maury County native was the daughter of late Roy and Louise Thornberry Gregg. She was the widow of Fred ?Buster? Glass. Mrs. Glass was a homemaker and a retired sitter. She was a member of the Mt. Pleasant Senior Citizens and member of the Ladies Auxiliary. She was a member of Locust Street Church of Christ.
She is survived by her children, Roy Belinda Glass, Peggy McKennon , Ronnie Wanda Glass, Donnie Glass all of Mt. Pleasant, TN, Billy Glass of Columbia, TN and Kaye Larry Casias of Hampshire, TN; twenty one grandchildren and thirty one great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Martha Louise Glass and one son, Fred Glass, Jr.; two sisters, Wilma Steele and Ola Mae Bailey; a brother, Ernie Gregg.
Pallbearers will be Homer Glass, Jason Glass, Robby McKennon, Phillip Glass, Roy Glass , Michael Glass , Adam Glass, Fred Glass, III and Johnny Glass.
Honorary pallbearers will be members of Locust Street Church of Christ, Johnny Steele, Roy Steele, Senior Citizens of Mt. Pleasant and Gregg Glass.
