Karen Elizabeth (Rondeau) Knowles, age 66, of Mt. Pleasant, Tennessee passed away on Thursday, May 23, 2019 at NHC, Columbia.
Karen was born on August 9, 1952 in Whitesboro, New York, to the late Amos Rondeau, Sr. and Lurena (Ogden) Rondeau. She worked as a Sales Associate as well as other positions in her fifteen years at Belk of Columbia. She was a lifelong member of the American Legion Auxiliary. She enjoyed being outside whether it be at a Flea Market/Yard Sale or just sitting on her front porch in her rocking chair; or taking a drive with no destination just listening to the radio in hopes of finding a new Mom/Pop type restaurant. She also loved to spend time with family at cookouts and holiday gatherings. She enjoyed taking in a good football game, “GO MTSU BLUE RAIDERS!” She cherished time spent with her husband at their campsite on the Tennessee River.
Karen is survived by her husband: Paul Knowles, Sr.; her daughters: Cheree’ and Nikita Knowles; grandchildren: Davina and Shea Culberson and Cameron and Dasia Harrison; great-grandson: Hezekiah Easley; sisters: Susanne Nicholson, Beverly Meeker and Patricia Anderson; brother, Sonny Rondeau; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter: Lori (Rondeau) Culberson; and her twin sons: Phillip and Joshua Knowles.
