Karen Diana Griffin, age 68, passed away on Wednesday, June 23rd, 2021 in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. She was born in Fort Myers, Florida on October 11th, 1952 to the late Walter Griffin, Jr. and Viviene Lee Brown Griffin Potter.
Karen has been a long-time, faithful member of Freedom Christian Independence church in Loretto, TN. Karen adored her family and treated each and everyone’s of her nieces and nephews as if they were her own. Karen had a strong-willed and feisty personality, but never mistake that for the huge heart she had for others. She loved to spoil the kids in her family.
Karen would love to spend her days tending to her garden and watching her flowers bloom with her furry sidekick, Lily. She had a gift for crocheting and got to know members of her community that shared the same interests at the Lawrence County Senior Center. There, she would cut up and make beautiful works of art that she would pass down to her loved ones.
She left a lifetime of memories and will be so greatly missed by all.
Karen is preceded in death by her parents, sister: Sandra “Sandy” Cason, and grandparents: Bennie and Dorothy Brown.
Karen is survived by her siblings: Roger (Jo Ann) Griffin and Patricia Freeman; and many, many nieces and nephews, and several great-nieces and great-nephews.
