Mrs. Karen Elaine Gaffaney Chavarin, 64, formerly of Palmdale, California, and a resident of Deer Trail Drive in Spring Hill, died Thursday, May 19, 2005 on Town Center Parkway in Spring Hill.
Williams Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Born in Los Angeles, California, she was the daughter of the late Kenneth and Alice Orton Gaffaney and wife of Simon Chavarin. She was a hairdresser and was affiliated with the Welcome Wagon of Spring Hill for 4 years. Her hobby was collecting dolls and stuffed animals.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Debbi Bogle of Tarzana, California and Isela Abreu of Columbia; son and daughter-in-law, Arturo and Patricia Chavarin of Palmdale, California; a nephew, Kenny Hovath of Atlanta, Georgia.
Memorials may be made to the Maury County Animal Shelter, 1233 Mapleash Ave., Columbia, TN 38401 or to the Muscular Dystrophy Association, Suite 118, 3343 Perimeter Hill Dr., Nashville, TN 37211.
