Mrs. Karen Elaine Clifton Workman, 43, died Friday, November 12, 2004 at her residence on Howell Road in the Enterprise Community.

Funeral services for Mrs. Workman will be conducted Monday, November 15 , 2004 at 1:00 p.m. at the Williams Funeral Home of Mt. Pleasant with Reverend Dickey Lindsey officiating. Burial will be in the Arlington Cemetery. The family will visit friends Sunday from 4:00 p.m until 8:00 p.m.at the funeral home.

The Lawrence County native was the wife of William M. ?Chougie? Workman and the daughter of Frank Mary Clifton of Lawrenceburg, Tennessee and Barbara Anderson Franson of Miami, Oklahoma. Mrs. Workman was a homemaker and a member of the Fellowship Community Church in Ethridge, Tennessee. She was an avid antique dealer and great cook.

In addition to her husband and parents, she is survived by a step-daughter, Ashley Workman of Mt. Pleasant, TN; a step-son, James Workman of Culleoka, TN; three sisters, Pam Favors of Lawrenceburg, TN, Linda Alton Williams of Culleoka, TN and Melony Scotty Isabell of Mt. Pleasant, TN; a brother, Chris Clifton of Gainesville, FL; four step sisters, Pat Joe Decareau of Lawrenceburg, TN, Diana Perry of Summertown, TN, Paula Rick Engleman of Belle Arbor, NY and Susan Burt Franklin of Santa Fe, TN; a step-brother, Buddy VioletYarbrough of Summertown, TN; several nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great nephews; uncle and three aunts.

She was preceded in death by two sisters, Terrie Diane Clifton and Melissa Darlene Clifton; a step-brother, Jerry ?Sonny? Shepherd.

Pallbearers will be James Earl Workman, Nicky Savage, John Howell, Alton Williams, Donnie Isabell and Joe Decareau.

Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. Cary Pulliam and staff, Van Workman, Zachary Workman, friends of the Enterprise Community and Jeremy Buie.
