Karen Bergthold Calvert, age 51, a resident of Golf Club Road in Mt. Pleasant, passed away on Thursday, January 9, 2008.
Funeral services for Mrs. Calvert will be conducted Sunday January 13, 2:00 P.M. at the Williams Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant with Mark Thomas officiating. Burial will follow in the Polk Memorial Gardens.
The family will visit with friends Saturday from 2:00- 7:00 p.m.
at the funeral home.
The Los Angeles, CA native was the daughter of Helen Allen Bergthold of Salem, Oregon and the late Samuel Bergthold. She was a server at the Golden Corral.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by loving boyfriend: Gerry Davis of Mt. Pleasant, TN; children, Jamie Stone of Orange County, CA, Danny chalk of Santa Fe, , Shelia Calvert and Taye Calvert both of Summertown, TN; two step-sons: Eric Davis and Daniel Davis both of McEwen, TN; granddaughters, Nicole Stone of Orange County, CA and Caleigh Chalk of Mt. Pleasant, TN; a step grandson, Landon Davis of McEwen, TN. She was preceded in death by a brother, Paul Bergthold of Salem, Oregon.
Pallbearers will be Steven Serrett, Tony Hinson, Joey Calvert, Chris Tuttle, Todd Kachel and Jim Richardson.
Honorary pallbearers will be employees of the Golden Corral.
