J.W. Brady, age 74, resident of Carpenter Street in Mt. Pleasant, passed away on Sunday, August 17, at Kindred Hospital in Nashville.
Funeral services for Mr. Brady will be conducted Thursday at 3:00 PM at the Williams Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant with Rick Points officiating.
The family will visit with friends on Thursday from 10:00 AM– 3:00 PM at the funeral home.
The Maury County native was the son of the late Claude and Viola Potts Brady and the husband of the late Ester Wray Brady. He was a self employed contractor and a veteran of the US Air Force.
He is survived by three sons: Rick Brady of Mt. Pleasant, Terry Jennifer Brady Baldwin of Manchester and Jerry Vicky Brady Baldwin of Estill Springs; two daughters: Elaine Bradford of Cowan and Cathey Larry Hill of Tullahoma; grandchildren: Misti Carpenter, David Smith, Corey Brady, Dakota Baldwin, Jordan Baldwin, Joey Baldwin and Larrissa Baldwin; two great grandchildren: Emily Garcia and Jackson Brady; sisters: Edna Billy West of Sparta, Helen Brady of Columbia, Ethel Peden of Pulaski and Dorothy Himes of Nashville. He was preceded in death by his brothers: Norman Brady Mitchell Brady, Raymond Brady, Ray Brady and Wayne Brady; sisters: Betty Lou Estes and Lucille Fly; grandchildren: Bralyn Bates and Charlcie Bates.
