Justin Ryan Davis

Justin Ryan Davis, age 27, a resident of Polk Lane in Columbia, passed away on Wednesday, May 7, at his home.

Funeral services for Ryan will be conducted Friday at 4:00 P.M. the chapel of Williams Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant with Bro. Jonathan Jones II officiating. Burial will follow in Polk Memorial Gardens.

The family will visit with friends on Thursday from 5:00 – 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.

The Maury Co. native was the son of Susan Morrison Catlin of Lyles, TN, and the late Gary Wayne Davis of Mt. Pleasant, TN. He was employed as a laborer with Heath McKnight Construction Co. and was a former employee of Polk Memorial Gardens. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and loved riding motorcycles. Ryan was a member of the First Baptist Church of Mt. Pleasant.

Survivors in addition to his mother include his children: Taittumn Davis and Justin Davis, both of Mt. Pleasant; the mother of his children and his best friend: Jessica Davis of Mt. Pleasant; a brother: Mitchell Stratton of Santa Fe, TN; grandparents: John H., Jr. and Gaynell Davis of Mt. Pleasant; aunts and uncles: Randall Davis and Timmy Davis, both of Mt. Pleasant; Liz Mike Whitwell of Mt. Pleasant and Marti Jonathan Jones of Hampshire; several cousins.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by one brother: Joshua Davis and maternal grandparents: Anne Morrison and Don Morrison.

Pallbearers will be Lee Whitwell, Matthew Whitwell, Jason McCain, Howard Harville, Heath McKnight, Buddy Grooms, Jerry Larue and Robert Ketch. Honorary pallbearers will be Brett Jones, Bart Jones, former co-workers at Polk Memorial Gardens, friends and family members.

Memorial donations may be made to the Memorial Fund at any Regions Bank location for his two children.
