Justin Mack McKennon

Justin Mack McKennon, a cherished son, brother, father, and friend, passed away on June 24, 2023. Born in Columbia, Tennessee on May 5, 1982, Justin was the beloved son of the late Sherrill Bruce McKennon and Debbie Thomason McKennon Gibson. He attended Maury County Public Schools and was remembered by his family as a beautiful and bright young child, full of life and potential.

Justin had an unwavering love for his Granny and his children. His devotion to his daughters was immeasurable and he treasured his role as a father. Justin's love extended to his extended family.

Cooking and preparing meals for his family brought Justin great pleasure. He embraced the opportunity to create delicious dishes and share them with his loved ones, leaving behind memories of laughter and warmth around the dinner table. Justin's culinary talents were a testament to his caring nature and his desire to bring happiness to those around him. With his patience, he even taught other members of his family how to cook.

Justin is survived by his daughters, Kristin, Jaelyn, Aaliyah McKennon, and Elizabeth Carpenter; sister: Stacia Buckner; and brother: Jerico McKennon; as well as his aunts: Shirley (Jim) Stewart, Lynn (Danny) King, Joyce Caruk; uncles: Garry (Cate) Thomason, Terry (Carol) Thomason, and Douglas McKennon; nephew: Jesse McKennon; and niece: Kennedy McKennon. He also leaves behind numerous cousins who will cherish the memories they shared together.

In addition to his parents, Justin was preceded in death by his grandparents: Claude and Jean Thomason, Mack and Jeanie McKennon; infant sister: Jessica Ann McKennon; brother: Matthew Gibson; stepfather: Jerry Gibson; aunts: Carmack Cothran and Dolly Green, and uncles Rick Bailey, Jimmy McKennon, and Bobby McKennon. Their spirits will now reunite in eternal peace.

The family will gather to receive friends and loved ones on Friday, June 30, 2023, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Williams Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant. A memorial service honoring Justin's life will follow at 6:00 PM, where family and friends will come together to celebrate the memories and legacy he leaves behind.

Justin Mack McKennon will forever be remembered as a kind-hearted and devoted father, brother, and friend. While his physical presence may be missed, his spirit will live on in the hearts of all who loved him.

May Justin's soul find eternal peace, and may his family and friends find solace in the memories they shared together.
