Junior Edward Clemons

August 28, 1944 — October 20, 2003

Mr. Junior Edward Clemons, 59, a resident of Sheboss Road in the Shady Grove Community, died Monday, October 20, 2003 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

Funeral services for Mr. Clemons will be conducted Thursday, October 23, 2003 at 2:00 p.m. at the Pentecostal Church of Jesus Christ with Reverend Henry Mobley officiating. Burial will be in the Old Well Cemetery on Sheboss Rd. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the church. Williams Columbia Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Born in New Madrid, MO., he was the son of the late Ernest Alton and Iva Marie Hooper Clemons and the husband of Lynda Dyer Clemons. He worked for Central Lime & Cement Company as a truck driver, a jack of all trades, small engine repairs, maintenance for the Pentecostal Church of Jesus Christ, a member of the Shady Grove Volunteer Fire Department and a professional Grandfather.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Marsha Gary Church of Shady Grove; four sons, Jerry Angel Clemons of Shady Grove, David Laura Clemons of Summertown, Peter Lynn Clemons of Centerville and Paul Clemons of Shady Grove; two sisters, Hazel Davis and Helen Louie Henckle, both of Michigan City, IN; three brothers, Lavern Rachel Clemons of Grand Junction, MI, Burnus Clemons of Centerville and Gene Kathy Clemons of Pullman, MI; six grandchildren, Dolton Clemons, David Clemons, Emily Clemons, Julie Clemons, Clayton Clemons and William Church; several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by two children, Jean Anne Clemons and Terry Alan Clemons.

Pallbearers will be Jerry Clemons, David Clemons, Peter Clemons, Paul Clemons, Josh Shultz, Mike Gallager and Gary Church. Honorary pallbearers will be the men of the Pentecostal Church of Jesus Christ and the members of the Shady Grove Volunteer Fire Department.
