June Spears Boshers

April 9, 1935 — October 28, 2005

Mrs. Wanda June Spears Boshers, 70, a resident of First Avenue in Mt. Pleasant, died Friday, October 28, 2005 at Hidden Acres Nursing Home.

Funeral services for Mrs. Boshers will be conducted Sunday, October 30, 2005 at 2:30 p.m. at the Williams Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant with Pastor Mike Roberts officiating. Burial will be in the Arlington Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Saturday from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

The Maury County native was the daughter of the late John and Willie Mae Tice Spears, Sr. and the wife of James Ray ?J.R.? Boshers. She did babysitting and was a sitter for the elderly at Bel-Aire Health Care. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother, who loved decorating for holidays, going to yard sales and was a member of Porter?s Chapel United Methodist Church.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son, Jason Ray ?Little J.R.? Mistie Boshers of Lewisburg; three grandchildren, Ali Swearingen, Weslee Wilson and Will Wilson, all of Lewisburg; three sisters, Wilma ?Squeak? Chatman and Sondra Wray Wright, both of Mt. Pleasant and Diana Cliff Lamb of Unionville; two brothers, Jim Kay Spears and Ronnie Shirley Spears, both of Mt. Pleasant; a godchild, Ashley Hill of Mt. Pleasant; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Carlene Littrell and Mable Hite; three brothers, Thomas Mose Spears, Albert ?Rabbit? Spears and John Spears, Jr.

Pallbearers will be Little J.R. Boshers, Greg Spears, Ryan Spears, Tim Spears, Tony Chatman, Van Boshers and Johnny Littrell. Honorary pallbearers will be Wendell Spears, Mike Littrell, Bull Lamb, Brian Hill, Charles Medlin, Jason Ladd, Doug Thompson, Pastor Jim Ledbetter, Dr. Robert Bain, Dr. Douglas Kennedy, Dr. Kelly Williams, and the staff and directors at Civil Construction.
