Julie Lauren Jones

Julie Lauren Jones, nee Hodges, affectionately known as Jewels, passed away on August 10, 2024, in Port Orange, Florida, at the age of 27. Born on November 4, 1996, in Franklin, Tennessee. Julie is survived by her loving husband Ryan A. Jones of McMinnville, TN, and her mother Dawn Fogarty Kelly (Eric) of Columbia TN. Julie was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents Dan and Sue Fogarty nee Myers of Spring Hill, TN.

Julie was an animal lover, Her loyal companion Tyson went everywhere she did. Julie had a great love of horses, and I believe was happiest when she was riding her horse, Billie. She was a fearless friend and always fought for the underdog. She was intelligent and feisty. She became a realtor while she was living in Louisville, she could do anything she set her mind to. 

At a young age Julie accepted OUR LORD as her savior and I know she was welcomed home and is at rest in HIS arms. Julie was a shooting star, she shone so bright and was beautiful to see flash across the sky but it was only for a moment we got to see her here. 

Her favorite Bible verse was Isaiah 40:31 But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

A memorial gathering will be held at Williams Funeral Home in Columbia, Tennessee on Saturday, August 31, 2024, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
