Julian Michael “Mike” Ebert 55, of Ashland, Ohio passed away Wednesday evening, November 5, 2014 at his residence following a short illness.

Mike was born December 31, 1958 in Xenia, Ohio and was the son of Julius M. and Jeanette C. (nee Poeppelman) Ebert Jr. He has resided in Ashland County for the past 19 years moving from Columbia, TN. He had worked as a machinist for several companies and was working in the bindery department at Bookmasters in Ashland until his health forced him to retire in 2014. He was a member of Christ the Redeemer Catholic Church in Centerville, TN., The Knights of Columbus 13167 of Centerville, as well Columbia TN 7447, and the Monroeville Rod and Gun Club. His hobbies included fishing and Trap Shooting and Hunting.

Mike is survived by one son, Paul (Samantha) Ebert of Birmingham, AL. His mother, Jeanie C. Ebert of Duck River, TN, one sister, Joyce (Fred) Reifsteck of Athens, GA, his twin brother, J. Mark Ebert of Duck River, TN. and his fiancée, Jackie Shearer of Ashland. He was preceded in death by his father, Julius Milford Ebert on August 6, 2011.

The family will also receive friends on Sunday, November 16, 2014 from 6-8 p.m. at the Williams Funeral Home in Columbia TN. Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday, November 17, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Catherine Catholic Church in Columbia TN.

The family suggests that memorial contributions may be made to the Knights of Columbus 13167 & 7447, in care of, 1860 Blue Buck Rd., Duck River, TN. 38454
