Julia Mary Vassallo, age 83, passed away on Thursday, November 1, 2018 in Columbia, Tennessee.
Julia was born on July 11, 1935 in Malta to the late Michael Camilleri and Concetta Cini. Julia worked as a nurse’s aide. She married George Vassallo and the two shared sixty beautiful years together. Julia was an exceptionally warmhearted and strong woman. She was known to be feisty to those who knew her best. Julia had wonderful sense of humor and deeply loved her family.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, November 7, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of St. Catherine Catholic Church in Columbia, Tennessee.
Julia is survived by her husband George Vassallo; her children Connie (Paul) Laffey, James (Natasha) Vassallo, and George (Ann) Vassallo; grandchildren Sam Vassallo, George Vassallo III, Jane Vassallo, Cara Laffey, Emily Laffey, Nicholas Laffey, Justin Vassallo, and Lindsey Vassallo; one great-grandchild Cari Allen; brother Alfred Camilleri; and sister Mary (Lee) Axiak.
