Judith Ellen Ore, age 71 of Columbia, passed away at her home Wednesday, March 20, 2013.
On July 28, 1941, Judith was born to the late Ernest Henry and Margaret Martin Henry in Columbus, Ohio. She later joined the United States Army. In 1987, she married her sweet heart Gary Ore. Judith worked as a technician at Saturn and also with Maury Regional Volunteers. She was a member of the Red Hat Club and the Columbia Newcomers.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Ore will be Sunday, March 24, at 2:00 PM at Williams Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant. Burial will follow in Polk Memorial Gardens. The family welcomes friends for visitation Saturday, March 23, from 4:00 – 8:00 PM at the funeral home with a Rosary at 7:00 PM.
Survivors for Mrs. Judith Ore include: Her son, Joe (Anita) Ryan; Two grandsons, Joseph Ryan II and Adam Ryan; and her granddaughter, Maria Ryan all of Louisiana. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest and Margaret Henry, and also her husband, Gary Ore.
Pallbearers will be Charlie Bortz, Tim Bortz, Tony Klien, Joseph Ryan II, and Adam B. Ryan.
