Judith Holton Baker

Mrs. Judith Holton "Judy" Baker, 48, a resident of Howell Road near Mt. Pleasant died Friday, June 24, 2005 at Maury Regional Hospital.

Funeral services for Mrs. Baker will be conducted Monday, June 27, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. at the Williams Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant with Reverend Charles Boyd and Reverend William Owens officiating. Burial will be in the Polk Memorial Gardens. The family will visit with friends Sunday from 5 :00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

The Pine Bluff Arkansas native was the daughter of Betty Claire Hoover Jim Walls of Memphis, TN and the late John Wesley Holton. She was the wife of Eugene Wilson ?Gene? Baker of Mt. Pleasant. She was a homemaker, an avid gardner, and was of Baptist faith.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sisters, Karen Williams of Southaven, MS and Mary Holton of Mt. Pleasant, TN; brothers and sisters- in- law, Tommy Hamlett of Memphis, TN, Doris Baker Sudberry of Mt. Pleasant, TN, Douglas R. Jeanie Baker of Huntsville, AL, Linda Malek Morcos of Charlotte, NC, and Carolyn Baker of Mt. Pleasant, TN; one step-daughter, Monica Baker of Carson City, NV; two step-sons, Mark Elaine Baker and Matthew Rachel Baker both of Carson City, NV; mother-in-law, Geneva Baker Roberts and step father- in-law, Clifford Roberts both of Mt. Pleasant, TN; three nieces, Heather McClelland and Amanda Shea both of Memphis, TN and Tam Williams of Southaven, MS; a nephew, Berry Williams of Southaven, MS and other nieces and nephews; special friends, Joanne Davis and Jennifer Nichols both of Mt. Pleasant, TN.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Linda Hamlett and a brother-in-law, James E. Baker.

Pallbearers will be Richard Thomason, Charles Thomason, Danny McConnell, Larry Foster, Larry Nichols, Steve Nichols and Bobby Brown.
