Juan Berrios

Juan Berrios was born May 12, 1924 in Bayamon, Puerto Rico, the son of the late Juan Berrios, Sr., and Gavina Flores Berrios. Juan was the husband of the late Gloria Rivera Berrios.

Juan worked at many different jobs over the years, providing for his family and making sure that they had a good life. Juan loved the Lord Jesus and made sure that his family was brought up in the faith. He was a member of the Baptist Church in Las Cruzes.

Survivors include his children, Israel (Angela) Berrios of Hackensack, NJ, Ana Aponte of Thompson Station, TN, John Berrios of Spring Hill, TN, Raquel Santiago of Hawthorne, NY and Damaris (Brian) Waters of Cartersville, GA; grandchildren, Israel Berrios, Jr., Dorene Webb, Irene Loescher, Ana Payne, Ruthy Sekine, Joshua Waters and Katie Ann Smith along with 13 great-grandchildren.

Juan was laid to rest on Friday, September 7, at Polk Memorial Gardens with his family giving his final tribute.

Williams Funeral Home in Columbia assisted the family with their arrangements.
