Joyce T. Bassham

Mrs. Joyce ?Granny? Taylor Bassham, age, 80, former resident of the Sandy Hook Community passed away on Saturday, September 30, at her home.
Funeral services for Mrs. Bassham will be conducted Tuesday at 2:00 P.M. in the chapel of Williams Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant with Jeff Waldrop and Randy Kersey officiating. Burial will follow in the Arlington Cemetery.
The family will visit with friends on Monday from 5:00 ? 9:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
The Rockwood, Tennessee native was the daughter of the late Cecil and Grace Kendrick Taylor. Mrs. Bassham was a retired sales person for B & H Shoe Store and also worked for Belks and Peebles. She was a member of Sandy Hook Church of Christ.
She is survived by her children, Sue John Whitehead of Columbia, Eddie Lynn Bassham and Deano Connie Bassham both of Mt. Pleasant; Grandchildren, Brian Bonnie Bassham of Albuquerque, N.M, Brent Brandi Hayes of Franklin, TN, Brandon Keyta Bassham and Brittainy Patrick Alexander both of Murfreesboro, Brooke Blake Lovett, Brett Bassham both of Mt. Pleasant, TN; great-grandchildren, Colby Bassham, Carter Bassham and Ellie Kate Bassham all of Albuquerque, NM, Keydon Bassham of Murfreesboro, TN; two sisters, Kathleen Paul DeLozier of Rockwood, TN and Nancy Ernest McCullough of Howell, MI; one brother, Ronnie Donna Taylor of Rockwood, TN; special sister in law, Kathleen Johnson of Sandy Hook; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Sandra Jean Bassham; three brothers, M.F. Taylor, Howard Taylor, Walter ?Sonny? Taylor; one sister, Charlotte Taylor; one grandson, Justin Bradley Bassham, the father of her children, Harold Bassham; two nieces and two nephews.
Pallbearers will be Brian Bassham, Brent Hayes, Brandon Bassham, Brett Bassham, Bobby Frazier, Ricky Frazier and Robbie Frazier.
Honorary pallbearers will be Charles Dale, Norman Wayne Davis, Michael Davis, Stephen Davis, Charles Bassham, James Moss, Ray Bassham, Blake Lovett, Patrick Alexander, Paul DeLozier, Ernest McCullough, Stephen Altobel and Boyd Wood.
