Joyce Schrimsher

Mrs. Joyce Bennett Schrimsher, age 73, a resident of Phillips Chapel Road in Waynesboro, TN, passed away Monday, July 24^th at Boyd Cottages Assisted Living in Waynesboro, TN.

Born March 11, 1950, she was the daughter of the late Claude W. and Della Ann Langham Bennett. She was self-employed and a homemaker. She was a member of Waynesboro church of Christ.

She is survived by her children: Stephanie (Jason) Goodwin of Waynesboro, TN and Bradley (April) Thompson of Spring Hill, TN; special friend: Donnie Thompson (father of her children); sisters: Betty Ann Eley and Jewel Briceno, both of Columbia; grandchildren: Britney Schroeder of Columbia, TN; Breanna Biggs of Nashville, Braden and Tandyn Thompson of Spring Hill, TN; great-grandchildren: Willow and Rosemary Biggs, Quinn and Carter Schroeder; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her sisters: Alice Colvett and Bertha Blocker; brothers: Willie Claude Bennett and Charles C. Bennett.

Funeral services for Mrs. Schrimsher will be conducted Thursday, July 27^th at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Williams Funeral Home in Columbia with Gregg Lee officiating. Burial will follow at Polk Memorial Gardens. The family will visit with friends Wednesday, July 26^th from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Williams Funeral Home in Columbia.

Pallbearers will be Ricky Bennett, David Blocker, Gary Colvett, Tony Brown, Danny Brown, Charles Bennett Jr., Andy Bennett, Braden and Tandyn Thompson.

Honorary pallbearers will be members of Waynesboro church of Christ, the staff of Boyd Cottages, and Gentiva Hospice.
