Joyce A. Pisarkiewicz, age 71, resident of Thompson Station, TN, passed away on Thursday, October 18, at Maury Regional Medical Center.
Joyce was born July 9, 1941 in Bonnertown, TN, the daughter of the late Carl Yarber and Audrey Pruitt Yarber. Joyce was a graduate of Loretto High School in Loretto, TN and attended cosmetology school in Florence, Alabama. She was affiliated with the Episcopal Church.
Joyce is survived by her son, Todd Burris (Tricia Joyce) of New York, NY; twin granddaughters, Helen Mae Burris and Claire Joyce Burris, also of New York; siblings, Frances Offenbaker of Newark, OH, Faye (Don) Craft of Columbia, Judy Yarber of Columbia and John (Judy) Yarber of Muscle Shoals, AL; nieces and nephews, Dave Jones of Newark, OH, Debbie Wintermute of Newark, OH, Patti Craft of Columbia, Garry (Melinda) Craft of Birmingham, AL, Carla (Jeremy) Roberts of Hamilton, AL and Kevin (Stephanie) Yarber of Memphis along with a host of great nieces and nephews.
A memorial service for Joyce will be conducted Sunday at 3:00 P.M. in the chapel of Williams Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant with Pastor Mark Proctor and Rev. Wilson Henderson of Highland Park Baptist Church officiating.
The family will visit with friends on Sunday from 2:00 – 3:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
The family requests memorial donations be made to the Highland Park Baptist Church Sanctuary Renovation Fund, 1800 Highland Avenue, Columbia, TN 38401.
