Joyce Brooks Holder

Mrs. Evelyn Joyce Brooks Holder, 53, a resident of Ball Hollow Branch in Giles County, died Tuesday, September 24, 2002 at her residence.
Funeral services for Mrs. Holder will be conducted Thursday, September 26, 2002 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Williams Columbia Funeral Home with Bro. Jim Ledbetter officiating. Burial will be in the Polk Memorial Gardens. The family will visit with friends Wednesday from 2:00 until 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
The Maury County native is the daughter of Agnes McCaleb Brooks and the late Wallace Brooks and the wife of John D. Holder, Sr. She was a homemaker and attended Minnow Branch Baptist Church.
In addition to her husband and mother she is survived by a daughter, Anna Michelle Beard; a son, John D. Holder, Jr. both of Lynnville; two brothers, Ray Brooks and Clifford Brooks, both of Columbia; a sister, Myrna Gay Brooks of Columbia; four grandchildren, Mandy Marie Beard and John Caleb Beard, both of Lynnville and Ashley Rebecca Holder and Allison Reed Holder, both of Culleoka.
Active pallbearers will be Spence, Joseph and Robert Brooks, Bobby and Mike Kilgore, and Rusty Nance. Honorary pallbearers will be Conrad and Randy Smith.
