Joseph W. Wiseman

Mr. Joseph W. "Joe" Wiseman, 87, died Saturday April 05, 2003 at his residence on North Main Street in Mt. Pleasant.
Funeral services for Mr. Wiseman will be conducted Monday at 1:00 p.m. at the Williams Mt. Pleasant Funeral Home with Rev. G. Simmons Robichaux officiating. The family will visit with friends Sunday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
The Eaton, Ohio native was the son of the late Frank and Nancy Handlon Wiseman. He was the husband of Jenny Houston Wiseman of Mt. Pleasant. He was retired from Nixon Detroit Diesel in Nashville and Cumberland Lumber and Manufacturing Company in McMinnville. He was a former long-time resident of Quebeck, Tennessee in White County and member of the Rock Island Lions Club in Warren County, Tennessee.
In addition to his wife he is survived by four daughters, Alice Frank Hiney of Germantown, Ohio, Sylvia Harrod Bergmann of Marquand, MO, Brenda Wayne Cochran of Cumming, GA, and Mary Bob Wren of Mt. Pleasant, TN; a son, Zane Beverly Davis of Franklin, TN; four sisters, Emogene Hensley, June Dick Alvey , and Lucille Shelley all of Eaton, OH, and Dorothy Taylor of Richmond, Indiana; a brother, Harold Wiseman of Arizona; eighteen grandchildren; several great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a grandson, Russell Christopher; three sisters, Freda Aten, Polly Wiseman, and Martha Evelyn "Honey" Applegate; a brother, Carl Wiseman.
Pallbearers will be grandsons.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Billy Joe Wren, Perry Hall, Jerry Holt, Jerry Bytwick, Ted Loftin and Carter Bostick.
Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association 209 23rd Avenue, North Nashville, Tn. 37203.
