Joseph “Joe” Jack Russo, age 68, of Collierville, Tennessee passed away on Monday, May 7, 2018 at Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville.
Joe was born on April 22, 1950 in St. Louis, Missouri to the late Angelo and Pearl Russo. Joe was a beloved husband, father and grandfather. Joe was a High School history and geography teacher. He also coached baseball and softball. Not only did he impact many students’ lives but his life was also impacted by his students.
Joe is survived by his beloved wife: LuAnn Russo; daughter: Stacey (Hugh) Seyfarth, of Ohio; son: Todd (Lesley) Russo, of Columbia, TN; grandchildren: Madison and Ella Seyfarth and Anton Velez; uncle: Thomas Aleto and cousin: Ann Johnson. He was preceded in death by his parents: Angelo and Pearl Russo.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
