Joseph Anthony Kreager

Mr. Joseph Anthony ?Joe? Kreager, 57, died Thursday, September 11, 2003 at his residence on Black Oak Trail in Spring Hill.

The funeral mass for Mr. Kreager will be recited Tuesday, September 15, 2003 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Catherine Catholic Church with Reverend Patrick Connor officiating. The family will visit with friends Sunday from 6:00 until 9:00 p.m. and Monday from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the Williams Columbia Funeral Home with a prayer vigil being held at 7:00 p.m.

The Detroit, Michigan native was the son of the Joseph Henry Kreager and Dorothy Sophia Onichimowski Kreager Bell. He was the husband of the late Janet Lynn Wheaton Kreager who died August 26, 2003. He was involved with crane maintenance for the Saturn Corporation. He was a former employee of the GM Cadillac plant in Detroit. Mr. Kreager attended many trade schools for his profession which included being a millwright, pipe fitter, rigger and welder in which he became certified as a welding inspector. He was a communicant of St. Catherine Catholic Church where he was a 4th degree Knight with the Knights of Columbus. He was a professional grandfather.

He is survived by two daughters, Christy David Estes and Franklin City Patrol Officer Tami Crowe both of Columbia, TN; five sons, Joseph W. ?Joey? Rhonda Kreager of Albany, IN, Staff Sgt. Bill Reynolds of Ft. Leavenwoth, KS, Erich Annie Kreager of Wayne, MI, Brian Brandy Crowe of Columbia, TN, and Steve Renee Kreager of Tucson, AZ; a sister, Patricia Kreager of Florida; a brother, Phillip Kreager of Caseville, MI; Eight grandchildren, Tara Crowe of Columbia, TN, Samantha Kelley of Farmland, IN, Savannah Kreager and Taylor Kreager both of Albany, IN, Jady Kreager of Wayne, MI, Bradley Kelley of Farmland, IN, Jacob Estes of Columbia, TN, and Jeffrey Kreager of Tucson, AZ; several beloved nieces, nephews, and friends.

Active pallbearers will be Casey Powers, Tom Boshell, Tony Swingley, Kevin Conger, Larry Sankhauser, and Staff Sergeant Bill Reynolds. Honorary pallbearers will be Robert Quarles, Dr. Bob McArthur, Tom and Joanne Boshell, Dee Richmond, Tony and Debbie Swingley, all employees of Saturn Corp. and members of the Knights of Columbus.
