John W "J.W." Boshers

Mr. John W. "J.W." Boshers, age 82, formerly of Mt. Pleasant, passed away Thursday, November 4, at the home of his daughter in Knoxville, TN
The Maury County native was born May 13, 1928, son of the late Eugene and Annie Allen Boshers and the husband of Peggy Walker Boshers. He was retired from Kenneth Boshers Welding as a heavy equipment operator and welder. He owned Boshers IGA in Mt. Pleasant and at Hamilton Court. In his early years, J.W. would take Johnny, his son, fishing and hunting and in his later years, he enjoyed watching baseball with his grandchildren. He attended Allensville Baptist Church.
In addition to his wife, Mr. Boshers is survived by his children: Peggy Roberts of Knoxville, John Kim Boshers of Mt. Pleasant and April Ty Powell of Knoxville; brothers: Howard Pearl Boshers, Eugene Bertha Boshers Jr., Jackie Linda Boshers, all of Mt. Pleasant and Steve Carolyn Boshers of Mt. Juliet; sister: Mary Elizabeth Tootsie King of Mt. Pleasant; grandchildren: Jeff Roberts, Adam Roberts, Crystal Boshers, Emily Boshers Chapman, Zachary Boshers, Taylor Boshers, Patrick Boshers and Peyton Miles; great grandchildren: Hunter Roberts, Baylee Boshers, Savannah McCain, Cayden Staggs, Courtney Staggs, Carter Chapman and Jakobi Boshers. He was preceded in death by his brothers: Donald Boshers, William Pete Boshers and Kenneth Boshers.
Graveside memorial services for J.W. will be conducted 2:00 PM Saturday, November 13 at Arlington Cemetery in Mt. pleasant with Bro. Mike Williams officiating.
Williams Funeral Home of Mt. Pleasant is assisting the family with the services.
