Mr. Johnny B. McGaw, 59, a resident of the Dog Hollow Road in the Yokley Community of Giles County, died Saturday, September 20, 2003 at Maury Regional Hospital.
Funeral services for Mr. McGaw will be conducted, Monday September 22, 2003 at 2:00p.m. at the Williams Columbia Funeral Home with Brother Terry Golden officiating. Burial will be in the Gibsonville Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Sunday from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
The Giles County native was the son of the late George and Liddie Adams McGaw. He was the husband of Ruby Ragsdale McGaw. He was a loving Husband and a loving Father. All his grandchildren called him Pa Pa. He was a contract carpenter.
In addition to his wife he is survived by two daughters, Debbie Phillip Vandiver of Lynnville and Pam Kenneth Irwin of Mt. Pleasant, TN; one son, Johnny B. Tina Ring McGaw, Jr. of Lynnville, TN; four grandchildren, Ashley Vandiver and Justin Vandiver both of Lynnville, TN, Hannah Irwin and Harley Norman both of Mt. Pleasant, TN; one great-granddaughter, Makayla Finley of Lynnville, TN; two special friends, Mattie Hobby of Culleoka, TN and James Adams of Columbia, TN.
Pallbearers will be Clay Fitzgerald, Eddie Fitzgerald, Brandon Finley, Phillip Vandiver, James Hobby, Monroe Hobby and Timothy Morton.
Honorary pallbearers will be Jason Tomlin, P.A. Fitzgerald, Dr. Moataz Toban, Dr. George Azar, Dr. Tracey Doering and the Staff of Maury Regional Hospital.
