Mrs. Johnnie Putnam Derryberry, 66, former resident of Main St. in Mt. Pleasant, died Thursday, June 26, 2003 at Vanderbilt Stallworth Rehabilitation Center in Nashville.
Graviside services for Mrs. Derryberry will be conducted Tuesday, July 1, 2003 at 2:00 p.m. at Polk Memorial Gardens with Reverend Eugene Shelton officiating. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 12:00 until 1:30 at the Williams Mt. Pleasant Funeral Home.
The Giles County native was the daughter of the late Floyd and Cassie Reeves Putnam and the widow of Gerald Derryberry. Mrs. Derryberry was a homemaker, a member of the Nazarene Church and an avid gardner.
Mrs. Derryberry is survived by one daughter, Kim Sharp; two granddaughters, Jennifer Faulkenberry and Emily Sharp; and one grandson, Daniel Sharp, all of Marshall County; one sister, Dimple James Glasco of Columbia; one brother, Harold Evelyn Putnam of Culleoka and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be David Putnam, Eddie Glasco, Jeff Glasco, Chris Glasco, Steve Putnam and Keith Putnam.
Honorary pallbearers will be David Woody, Mickey Bowen and Frank Sharp.
