John C. "J.C." Kelley

Mr. John C. ?J.C.? Kelley, age 80, a resident of Fly Road in Santa Fe, passed away on Tuesday, December 11, at his residence.
Funeral services for Mr. Kelley will be conducted Thursday at 10:00 A.M. in the chapel of Williams Funeral Home in Columbia with Rev. Jamie Bone and Bro. Tommy Culberson officiating. Burial will follow in the Santa Fe Cemetery with military honors provided by the Herbert Griffin American Legion Post #19.
The family will visit with friends on Wednesday from 12:00 Noon until 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
A native of Maury Co., he was the son of the late Dewey and Leecy Potts Kelley. He was the husband of Naomi Jewell Warren Kelley of Santa Fe whom he married on December 10, 1949. Mr. Kelley was retired from Union Carbide as a crane operator, a school bus driver for the Maury Co. School System and a MCBOE Courier. Mr. Kelley was an Army veteran of WWII. He was a member of the Santa Fe Baptist Church.
Survivors in addition to his wife include two daughters: Deborah Larry Parker of Centerville and Donna Thomas White of Santa Fe; one granddaughter: Stacey Jordon Shaw of Columbia; one brother: Clyde Jean Kelley of Columbia; three sisters: Minnie Barnes of Columbia, Lorene Bobby Barnes of Alabama and Linda Roger Hill of Columbia; one sister-in-law: Barbara Jimmy Rowland of Columbia; brothers-in-law: Arch Wanda Warren of Columbia, Cecil Irene Warren of Columbia, Roy Mary Lou Warren of Alabama and Cecil Lewis of Lawrenceburg. He was preceded in death by a son: Dennis Kelley; brother: Billy Kelley: one sister: Katie Kelley; brother-in-law: Eugene Barnes; sister-in-law: Doris Lewis; two nephews: Gary Barnes and Shawn Pilkinton.
Pallbearers will be Robert Barnes, Roy Barnes, Larry Johns, Jason Kelley, Shannon Kelley, Timothy Kelley, Michael Pilkinton and Chris Rochester. Honorary pallbearers will be Doyle & Teresa Rochester, Cindy Johns, Randy Gardner & Family, Michael Beard, Al Stevens, Tommy Beard, Margaret Brady, R.L. & Esther Potts, John L. Culberson, Jerry & Jewell Dukes, Sonny & Linda Gordon, Vance & Dot Potts, Bro. Jack Taylor, Larry Brown, Frank & Lois Lindsey, Wayne Williams, Cecil Baker, Howard & Rachel Foster, Jane Cox, retired employees of Union Carbide, Hardison Mill Campers, Masons of Santa Fe Lodge 111, Woodmen of the World Columbia Lodge 18, Maury County School Bus Drivers, Santa Fe Baptist Church Men?s Sunday School Class, Family and Friends Community Choir and Santa Fe Diner Coffee Drinkers.
