Mr. John W. "Bill Jr." Cole, Jr., 74, a resident of Morris Avenue in Columbia, died Wednesday, July 31, 2002 at Maury Regional Hospital.
Private family services will be held at a later date. Williams Columbia Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
The Maury County native was the son of the late Bill and Ilo Jones Cole. He was the husband of Doris Marie Felker Cole of Columbia. He was retired from Power Electric Company in Nashville as a motor rewinder. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.
In addition to his wife he is survived by a son, John Michael Cole of Columbia; 5 granddaughters, Shannon Jeannett Cole, Sarah Jane Cole, Jamie Michelle Cole, and Jennifer Marie Cole all of Hampshire and Brittany Ann Cole of LaVergne; a sister, Patsy Parker of Summertown; 2 brothers, Donald Eugene Gardner of Henderson, NV and Richard Dale Cole of Columbia; several nieces and nephews.
