John "Steve" Steven Davis

John Steven “Steve” Davis, age 54, of Mt. Pleasant, Tennessee passed away on Monday, February 06, 2017 at Maury Regional Medical Center surrounded by his loving family.

Steve was born on September 7, 1962 in Davidson County, Tennessee to Joan Wilson. On May 9, 1996 he married Annie Ferrell Davis. He had a big heart and was a great father and grandfather.

Steve is survived by his wife: Annie Davis of Mt. Pleasant; mother: Joan Wilson Sweeney; children: Ashley “Nikki” (Corey) Davis of Mt. Pleasant, Steven “Tyler” Ferrell of Mt. Pleasant and Melissa Pounders of Alabama; grandchildren: Karin Holloway, Kayley Parritt and Gracie Davis; nephews and nieces: Justin Thomason, Josey Thomason, Angela (Ron) Hickman and Jennifer Morales; siblings: Fred “Eddie” Davis of Mt. Pleasant, Sherry (Wendell) Allman of Mt. Pleasant and Mary Ann (Doug) Thomason of Hampshire. He was preceded in death by his son: Corey Neil Davis; and his grandparents: Fred and Hazel Davis.

Funeral services for Steve will be held on Wednesday, February 8, 2017 in the Chapel of Williams Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Wendell Allman officiating. Burial will follow at Polk Memorial Gardens. The family will visit with friends on Tuesday, February 7 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. also at the funeral home.

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
