Mr. John Stephen ?Steve? Massey, 51, a resident of McIntyre Drive in Columbia, died Tuesday, November 11, 2003 at Vanderbilt Hospital in Nashville.
Funeral services for Mr. Massey will be conducted Saturday, November 15, 2003 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Williams Columbia Funeral Home with John Vaughan officiating. Burial will be in the Polk Memorial Gardens. The family will visit with friends Saturday from 12:00 noon until service time at the funeral home.
Born in Maury County, he was the son of Martha Ann Church Massey of Columbia and the late John Allen Massey. He was a self employed truck driver, served in the U.S. Marines during the Vietnam Era and attended the Church of Christ.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by a son, Nathan of TX; sister, Pamela and husband Garey Nelson of Houston, TX and sister, Jackie Miller of Brooksville, KY.; several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be family members and friends.
