John Edwin McEntyre, age 88 passed away on July 8, 2017 at Maury Regional Medical Center.
John was born on April 5, 1929 to the late John O. and Ruby Lolis McEntyre in Anniston, Alabama. He retired from Monsanto as a maintenance supervisor. He served in the United States Navy during the Korean War.
The family will have a private service at a later date.
Mr. McEntyre is survived by his wife, Mattie Young McEntyre; son Wade McEntyre; daughter Patsy McEntyre; and niece Dr. Kathleen Heim.
Mr. McEntyre was preceded in death by his daughter Linda Jo Smith.
