John A. Logan, age 72, passed away on February 13, 2023, leaving a void in the hearts of his family and friends.
John was born on September 9, 1950, to the late Theron Allen Logan and Hazel Boik Logan in Taylor, Michigan.
He will always be remembered as a dedicated fan of Dale Earnhardt Sr. and NASCAR, an avid hunter and fisherman, and a passionate supporter of the Titans. He also had a fondness for Westerns, poker, and chess. John took pride in hard work and working with his hands. He dedicated many years as a truck driver and worked as a Mechanic for Stoney’s Salvage, and then later a Mason with Phillips Group.
Above all else, John cherished spending time with his loved ones and friends, and his kind and compassionate nature endeared him to all who knew him.
Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Joann Logan, children: David Briley, Billy (Amber) Logan, Isaac (Yayoi) Crabtree, Alisha (Chris) Daniels, Nicholas Logan, and Benjamin Beard; as well as his previous partner, Pat Kolberg; siblings: Susan Pierce (Ed) and Richard Logan; dear friend: Robert Tucker; and numerous grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
His memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
In addition to his parents, John is preceded in death by his son, Leon Logan; daughter: Tammy Milner; and sister and brother-in-law: Diane and Jim Stanbaugh.
The family is receiving friends and visitors Friday, February 17, 2023, from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM. To follow, a memorial service will commence at 6:00 PM with Bro. Mylen Coble officiating.
Honorary Pallbearers are Billy, Isaac, Tucker, Nick, Benjamin, Ed, and Rick.
