John “Johnny” Harold Luttrell Jr. of Cornersville, Tennessee, passed away on Saturday, October 1, 2016 at his home.
Johnny was born on July 19, 1963 to John H. Luttrell Sr. and Mable Charlene Hanvy Luttrell in Columbia, Tennessee. Johnny graduated from MTSU with a B.S. in Criminal Justice. He most recently served as a detective with the Maury Co. Sherriff’s Department. Johnny was married to Debby Mae Crane. They had two daughters, Amanda and Kristin. Johnny was a family man and deeply loved his grandchildren. He enjoyed camping, but once the grandchildren came along, he could not go camping without them. Johnny was a member at Viola Baptist. Johnny enjoyed working on machines; he often would take them apart and then rebuild them. His family said on occasion he may have had a few extra pieces leftover. Johnny also enjoyed working in the yard. Most anyone who knew Johnny knew he was not shy to speak his mind. One of the most endearing qualities Johnny possessed was how he paid attention, even to the small things, especially for those he deeply loved.
The family will visit with friends on Wednesday, October 5, 2016 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Williams Funeral Home in Columbia, Tennessee.
