John G. Willard

Mr. John G. Willard, age 62, a resident of South Cross Bridges Road in Mt. Pleasant, passed away on Saturday, October 25th, 2008 at St. Thomas Hospital.
A Memorial service for Mr. Willard will be conducted Thursday, October 30th at 6:00 PM at the First United Methodist Church in Mt. Pleasant with Rev. Phillip Wright officiating. Williams Funeral Home of Mt. Pleasant will be in charge of the arrangements.
The family will visit with friends at the church following the service.
The Lebanon, Tennessee native was the son of the late Lloyd Willard and Gladys Irene Drennon Willard and the husband of Donna Rinehart Willard. He was a contract carrier with an independent mail route. His family are members of the First United Methodist Church in Mt. Pleasant.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children: Brook Jason Fitzgerald of Columbia, Matthew Willard of Murfreesboro and Benjamin Willard of Smyrna; two sisters: June James Dillard of Lebanon and Mary Swafford of Akron, IN; two brothers: Danny Willard of Silver Lake, IN and Charles Willard of Murfreesboro; many nieces and nephews.
In Lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Needy Fund at First United Methodist Church, 202 South Main St, Mt. Pleasant, TN 38474.
