John Travis Davis

John Travis Davis age 53, passed away unexpectedly Monday, May 15, 2023, at Maury Regional Medical Center in Columbia, Tennessee. John was born July 16, 1969, in Columbia, TN to the late Alford Ray Davis and Saundra “Josie” Davis Lovell.

Travis always had a loving and caring heart especially for his family. He often showed he cared by cooking. He loved to fix biscuits and gravy for his grandchildren. They were his whole world. When Travis wasn’t driving for the Pizza Place in Mount Pleasant he might be camping or spending time with his grandchildren. If the Steelers were on then that’s where you would find John, he was a huge Steelers fan. Travis is gone too soon. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

Travis is survived by his wife Trina Davis; children: Christopher (Lisa) Mayo and Jennifer (Chris) Taylor; grandchildren: Hannah, Haley, Aleia, Christin, Armani, Amilee; and 1 great grandbaby on the way; brother: Mike Davis; several nieces and nephews; and special cousins Timothy Davis and Kevin Davis. Travis is preceded in death by his parents and sister Sandra Dulworth.

The family wants to extend a special thanks to Timmy Davis and the Pizza Place for all the support and love.

The family will have a memorial service for Travis will be held on July 15, 2023 at 3:00 PM at Sandy Hook Church of Christ.
