John David Wise, Sr.

Mr. John David Wise, Sr., 69, a resident of Antrim Circle in Columbia, died Wednesday, February 18, 2004 at Maury Regional Hospital.
Funeral services for Mr. Wise will be conducted Saturday, February 21, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. at Williams Funeral Home in Columbia with Reverend Brian Wiesinger officiating. Burial will be in Polk Memorial Gardens. The family will visit with friends Friday from 5:00 p. m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
The Detroit, Michigan native was the son of the late Wilton and Ruby Hodges Wise and the widowed of Dolores Joan Young Wise. He was a retired press operator from General Motors Corporation in Livonia, Michigan. He was a long-time resident of Westland, Michigan and member of the Moose Lodge in Dearborn, Michigan. He was a member of the Presbyterian Church and was an avid golfer and bowler.
He is survived by his children, Cheri Mike Kash of Columbia, TN and John David Mary Wise, Jr. of Canton, Michigan; six grandchildren, Michael Kash and Melanie Kash both of Columbia, TN, Robin Polk of Fayetteville, TN, Christopher Morris of Columbia, TN, Danielle Wise and Jodi Wise of Canton, Michigan; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Janice Morris; two sisters and three brothers.
Pallbearers will be Don Wright, John Tidey, Christopher Morris, Chris Eakes, Jim Morris and Gerald Mims.
Memorials may be made to the Maury County Senior Citizens, 1020 Maury County Park Dr. Columbia, TN 38401
