John Wayne Chapman, age 66, passed away on Monday, March 16, 2015 after a very courageous battle with cancer at Maury Regional Medical Center.
John was born on February 17, 1949 to the late John Aaron Chapman and Myrtle McWilliams Chapman in Maury County, Tennessee. John married Judy Sensat on September 19, 1992. He was a great father and provider. John always wanted to provide for his family so Judy would be able to take care of the children. He was a faithful member of Main Street Church of Christ. When the doors to the church were open, John was there. He worked at Spontex, where he retired. John was a huge fan of the Atlanta Braves and supported all sports including baseball, softball, volleyball, and football. He loved going fishing and shooting guns. John loved cowboy boots and was a big fan of Western films, including John Wayne movies. If his children had a question, he always had an answer for them. During the two and one-half years that John courageously fought his battle with cancer, he never complained.
