Joel Thomas Pruitt

Joel Thomas Pruitt was born April 21, 1968 in Columbia, TN. He was a graduate of Columbia Academy and had worked as an auto mechanic for his father at Pruitt's Service Station in Mt. Pleasant. He was a member of the Macedonia Church of Christ.
Survivors include his parents, Charles and Era Jones Pruitt of Mt. Pleasant; one daughter, Paige LeeAnn Pruitt and her mother, Ginger McGee of Mt. Pleasant; one brother, Jeffrey Pruitt of Mt. Pleasant; aunts and uncles, Dot Greenfield of Columbia, Rebecca Joe Duncan, David Linda Jones, Jonathan Marti Jones, Mark Nancy Jones and Luke Jones, all of Hampshire and Janey Pruitt of Mt. Pleasant; several cousins along with special friends "R.T." Tomlin and Rachel Robertson.
Joel passed away on Wednesday, March 14, at his home surrounded by his dear family.
Joel's family would like to give special thanks to the staff of Hospice Compassus for their compassionate care.
The Pruitt family will meet for graveside services Saturday at 10:00 A.M. in the Arbors Pavilion at Polk Memorial Gardens with Bro. John Baker officiating.
The family will visit with friends on Friday from 4:00 – 8:00 P.M.at Williams Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant.
