Mr. Joe Thomas Hooten, 66, of Denver, CO, passed away April 23 at the Broomfield Hospice Care Center after an extended illness.
Graveside services for Mr. Hooten will be conducted 1:00 PM Wednesday at the Spring Hill Cemetery in Spring Hill with Rick Points officiating. Military honors will be provided by the US Army.
Williams Funeral Home of Columbia is in charge of arrangements.
Born December 1, 1943 in Columbia, son of Jewell Hooten of Chattanooga and the late Willie B. Hooten and the husband of Linda Carol Hooten. He loved animals and all things nature. Mr. hooten loved music and to entertain at home, grilling for his neighbors, especillay enjoyed the pig roasting with them. He was a US Army veteran of the Vietnam Conflict.
In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by his daughters: Sondra Joe Moore and Dana Carol Hooten; grandchildren: Lindsey, Zack and Joey; sister: Louise Grishom; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
