Jimmy Lee Morris, 74, of Columbia passed away on Saturday, July 29, 2017 at his residence.
Jimmy was born on May 7, 1943 in Harriman, Tennessee to the late George Washington Morris and Myrtle Reed Morris. He loved to take trips by his self to California and Tunica. In his spare time he would do genealogy, watch movies, fish, or work with wood. Jimmy was stubborn and loved to argue.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 2, 2017 at 10:00 Am in the chapel of Williams Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Polk Memorial Gardens. Jimmy’s family will visit with friends on Tuesday, August 1, 2017 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
Jimmy is survived by his daughter, Robin (Chris) Eakes of Columbia; Sons, Christopher Morris of Columbia and James Morris of California; Granddaughters, Taylor and Baylee Eakes; Brother, Luther (Leon) Morris; Sisters, Nancy Shelton and Jeannie Morris; and several nieces and nephews.
