Jimmy LeRoy Rivers Jr “Jimbo”, age 55, of Mount Pleasant, Tennessee passed away on August 25, 2018 at Maury Regional Medical Center.
Jimbo was born on October 15, 1962 in Salena Kansas. His parents were Helen Miller and Jimmy and Cheryl Rivers. He was raised in Zwolle, Louisiana and attended Denham Springs High School. He attended the National Guard and was a born-again Christian, living for God. He loved cooking, fishing, and serving others. He was always making others laugh and making a joke out of every situation. He loved dancing and singing.
He was survived by his fiancé, Marcy Davis; siblings, Arlene Rivers, Joy (Shannon) Douglas, Tammy (Mike) Robin, Paula (Mitchell) Parker, Mona (Donnie) McGregor, Jason (Erin) Rivers, Angela Pennington and Shane Miller; his children, Jimmy LeRoy River III, Jessica Meyers, Robert Rivers, Jeff Tyler Rivers; 8 grandchildren and step siblings, Samantha Slay, Dustin Paul Manuel and Patty Joe Manuel.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
