Jimmy Ronald Holt

Jimmy Ronald Holt, age 76, of Mount Pleasant, Tennessee passed away on July 20, 2018 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.

Jimmy was born on May 20, 1942 in Mount Pleasant to Jimmy and Susie Holt. He was a happy person. He loved to walk the streets of Mount Pleasant. He never met a stranger, he loved speaking with everyone. His favorite foods were fried chicken, steak and macaroni and cheese. He had a quick wit and you never knew what he might say. He loved Susie, his caretaker, and house mate Danncy McNeece he also loved to the senior citizens at the senior citizens center and going to church and all of his friends there.

Jimmy is survived by his sisters, Martha Love, of Columbia, TN and Betty Cockrell, of Summertown, TN; sister in laws, Pat Holt, of St. Louis, MO and Louise Holt, of Columbia, TN and brother, J.C. (Mary Lou) Holt of Mount Pleasant, TN. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sisters, Juanita Thomason, Nellie Fagan, Ruby Andrews and Doris Grimes and brothers, Harold Holt and Gary Holt.

The family will visit with friends on Sunday, July 22, 2018 from noon until 2:00 pm at Williams Funeral Home in Mount Pleasant. A service will follow at 2:00 pm in the chapel of Williams Funeral Home in Mount Pleasant with Mike Roberts officiating. Interment will follow at Arlington Cemetery.
