Jimmy Harrison Bailey, 77, of Williamsport, TN passed away on Monday, December 25th, 2017 at Maury Regional Medical Center.
Jimmy worked for Tennessee Highway Patrol from 1971 to 1997 when he retired. He also managed the Williamsport Lakes Concessions from 2000 to 2015. He and his wife, the late Marjorie Lou Bailey were married for 58 years.
Jimmy is survived by children: Janiece (Randy) Ragsdale, Patty (Dwight) Norman and Tony (Tracy) Bailey, all of Williamsport, TN; nine grandchildren: Robin (JP) Patterson, Jonathan Cothran, Kayla McMillan, Katelyn and Ryan Bailey, Amber (Chris) Garret, Katelyn Shaw and Michael and Rachel Adler; Nine great-grandchildren: Ella Patterson, Cheyenne and Blake McMillan, Chesley, Ty, Gracie, Lilly and Jay Cothran and Kason Cox; Brothers: Paul (Aneta) Bailey, David (Diann) Bailey; Sister: Carol Hensley and Sister-in-law: Linda West of Muncie, Indiana. He is also survived by his longtime friends Robert Hooten and Floyd Norman. He was preceded in death by his wife: Marjorie Lou Bailey; his Parents: Willie Elizabeth (Bill) Bailey and William Harrison (Bill) Bailey and his Brother: Robert (Bobby) Bailey.
Jimmy's family would like to extend special thanks to Dr. Hutchens and staff for their loving care. Special Thanks are also offered to Amanda Carroll, his nurse, as well as first floor nurses and nurses of the CCU at Maury Regional Medical Center.
Services will be Friday, December 29th, 2017 at Parkway Baptist Church on Tom J. Hitch Parkway. The family will visit with friends prior to the service from 4:00pm until 6:00pm. A Service will be held at 6:00pm with Rick Points officiating.
