Jewel Stanfill Ervin

December 15, 1924 — October 22, 2006

Mrs. Jewel Hazel Stanfill Ervin, 81, resident of Galloway Street in Columbia, passed away on Sunday, October 22, at Maury Regional Hospital.

Funeral services for Mrs. Ervin will be conducted Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Williams Funeral Home in Columbia with Reverend David Mc Gregor officiating. Burial will be in the Rose Hill Cemetery.

The family will visit with friends on Tuesday from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

The Granger County Oklahoma City, OK, native was the daughter of the late Albert and Nadine Cartlidge Stanfill and wife of Claudie B. Ervin. Mrs. Ervin was a bookkeeper for the Kings Daughters School in Columbia and KFC corporate office. She was a member of the West End Baptist Church.

In addition to her husband she is survived by her children, Nadine Ervin Flanigan Ray Johnson of Columbia, Janice E. Jack Whitley of Franklin, Debra John Totty of Santa Fe; grandchildren, Julie Flanigan and Lori Kenneth Durwood Hollis both of Murfreesboro, Shannon Juan Lamb of Franklin, Marisa and Jessica Totty of Santa Fe; great ?grandchildren, Tyler and Tanner Hollis both of Murfreesboro and Duncan Lamb of Franklin; one sister, Shirley Stanfill Scott of Nashville; devoted family friend, Faye Hartsfield of Columbia. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Albert Stanfill and Frank Stanfill; two sisters Opal Stanfill and Maggie Stanfill Dunaway.

Pallbearers will be Kenneth Durwood Hollis, Daryl Scott, Jim Patterson, Craig Patterson, Johnny Cothran and Rex Toone.
