Jessie G. Elliott

Mr. Jessie G. Elliott, age 87, a resident of Anderson Creek Road in Summertown, passed away on Sunday, June 3, at Hidden Acres Nursing Home.
A memorial service for Mr. Elliott will be conducted Wednesday June 6 at 3:00 P.M. at the Williams Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant with Rick Points officiating.
The Battle Creek Michigan native was the son of the late Charles H. Elliott and Mattie Groves Elliott and the widower of Gladys J. Elliott whom he married August 17, 1946. He was a B17 Bomber Pilot during World War II. He was a retired Contract Administrator for General Dynamics in Lima, Ohio, previously worked as a Supply Manager for Chrysler International and was also employed with Lionel Trains and Oliver Tractor. He was very proud of his rank as an Eagle Scout and a member of the Kiwanis. He was of the Methodist faith.
Survivors include his children, Charles H Irene Elliott of Boca Raton, Fl, Barbara Louis Vick of Summertown, TN, Thomas Vicky Elliott of Willow Street, PA and Dee Waino Peterson of Visalia, CA; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by three sisters.
